When I was on my way back from a hiking tour my ex-girlfriend said:"Look to the lake. It's so beautiful". I turned the car to the side and got some beautiful pics. Lake Faak (Faaker See, Carinthia, Austria) is one of the most beautiful lakes in Carinthia. Clean water, surrounded by a wonderful landscape and a little cute island in the middle. Here is a short description in english: [link]
I made here a HDR pic with Photomatix out of three pics. I merged two HDR pics together. In the first i focused on the background. In the second i tried to get the optimum for the waterscape. I'm happy, it turned out very good (I think so).
enjoy the wonder of nature

I've featured this photo in my "Exploring Austria" news article along with other great photos taken in or focus on this country. Please have a look and if you like what you see, fav the article or let me know what you think about it: [link]
Depending on its success I might come up with another Austria-related article in the near future, if you have other photos, feel free to send me a note with some links and suggestions
Thank you very much Lydia
PS: I'll just post this message on every photo used in the article, sorry if I have used more pics from you and you're getting swamped with these - I want to make sure I notify everyone

No, it's not stock.
